My Goals

My dream is to research and develop the spacecraft and systems that will take humans to Mars. The most exciting part of this endeavor is how much must be done in preparation for the journey. Technologies such as food preservation systems, radiation protection, temperature control systems, and temporary structures will all need to be designed from the ground up. Most importantly, these systems will also have incredible applications on Earth; alleviating food shortages, reducing harmful UV exposure, keeping humans comfortable with less energy, and providing temporary housing for displaced people. 

Ultimately, I hope that the advancements I make in the space industry are applicable as positive enhancements for people here on Earth.
